The owners, being an architect and an artist, designed all the structures along the river front beginning in 1997.  The main house is a timber-framed structure with two bedrooms, a loft sleeping area, separate bath and shower areas. The hatchery building has been used to raise fingerlings, which are grown and then transferred to the ponds.  The farm can be operated as a profitable trout farm if the new owners desired. Currently the owners raise enough fish for their own consumption and for fly fishing.

A neighbor is hired to maintain the landscape and the irrigation and aqueduct system for about $250 per month.
